Iceland the cosy way

This makes a difference from coffee table photo books of places and travel guides more suited to being in a place than finding out about it from the comfort of home. This book is great for those looking to holiday in Iceland and those unable to travel there for whatever reason. Working through the puzzles gives you more of a feeling of the place, a bit like a treasure hunt from the comfort of your armchair.

Better then the real trip honestly So I grabbed this book thinking its just another activity thing but its actually super fun?? The puzzles are creative and you end up going down all these rabbit holes learning about vikings and glaciers and weird icelandic food. Theres this one part where you roll dice and do a whole quest thing which sounds nerdy but I got way into it. The waterfall bingo at the begining is such a good start and the aurora quiz at night with food pairings?? Such a cool idea. You do need internet tho cause alot of it is about looking stuff up and watching videos which some people might not like but I thought it made it feel more real. If your going to iceland or just want to pretend you are, def get this. Buying it for two of my friends forsure.

I am fascinated by Iceland and this was such a different book - one with puzzles to take you around - This was different from any travel book ive read before, and that made it a unique experience. however as someone who knows very little about the place, constantly having to look up things on google kept taking me out of the reading experience. + some pictures would have been nice.
