Voyager Dispatch: Can You Solve the New Puzzle?

by Katharina Huang 14 Apr 2026 0 comments

Greetings, Voyager Anonymous! This is your April 2026 dispatch from the Vegout Voyage HQ, handcrafted with care by your humble custodian. Materials henceforth are for your eyes only.

🚀 Vegout HQ happenings 🚀

I've been working with my Instagram manager Lucille since 2024, and I'm always fond of her thoroughness and kindness at work.

It feels to me that we as a society have been putting a lot of energy into the them-versus-us divisions both within and beyond our borders, but life is short and rather than fighting negativities, I intend to focus on pursuing positivity. That's why I invited Lucille to collaborate on this month's Mini Voyage, featuring her home country the Philippines. I wanted a chance to get to know her more personally, and for her, I am crossing my fingers that it was a pleasant test run branching into my newsletter production.

After the cursed stretch of back-to-back seasonal flus and serving jury duty, I'm happily blessed with much-needed normalcy in the past two weeks. For the most part, I've been frantically catching up on music projects with fast-approaching performance deadlines. Thank you, Lucille, for stepping in at this critical time and keeping Vegout Voyage's momentum going!

With that, I hope all of you enjoy island-hopping across the Philippines this month. Have fun!

🇵🇭 Do you have what it takes to crack the new Mini Voyage? 🇵🇭

The Philippines is famous for Boracay's White Beach and Bohol's Chocolate Hills. But there are many other destinations that are worth a visit! Explore four hidden gems—labeled A, B, C, and D—by going through this Philippines-shaped maze.

A.

Lighthouse on a grassy hill overlooking the ocean with waves crashing against rocks.

B. This place is called the Food Basket of the region because it is a major hub of fruits, vegetables, and meat production.

C.

Island with white sand beach and clear blue water

D. Surrounded by crystal clear waters, you see fine, light pink sand that sparkles in the sun.

Your task is to fill each yellow box with the correct letter based on its image or description, placing the letters in the most accurate location on the maze-map and in the order you encounter them as you walk along the maze path.

🔡 Answers to the previous Mini Voyage 🔡

The Wordle answer is WATER. Songkran is the traditional New Year festival in Thailand, occurring annually in early- to mid-April. Amongst a variety of celebrations, the water fight stands out as a popular staple. One of my favorite travel YouTubers, TheLifeOfJord, has a short vlog on the the water fight in Bangkok for those of us who enjoy the visual aid.
