Voyager Dispatch: Can You Solve the New Puzzle?
Greetings, Voyager Anonymous! This is your May 2026 dispatch from the Vegout Voyage HQ, handcrafted with care by your humble custodian. Materials henceforth are for your eyes only.
💝 Do you have what it takes to crack the new Mini Voyage? 💝
This month's puzzle is a word search puzzle with a hidden message in it. First, discover all nine countries listed. Words can go in any direction, share letter, and cross over each other. Once you find all the words, copy the unused letters, starting from the top left to the bottom right in order to reveal the hidden message. You may not need all the unused letters to complete the message.

The answer to last month's puzzle is as follows. Did you guess it right?

The A landmark is located at Batanes. Situated at the north end of the Philippines, Batanes has stunning landscapes, such as rugged cliffs, rolling hills, and crystal-clear waters. It also has traditional Ivatan stone houses that can withstand strong winds and typhoons.
The B landmark is Bukidnon, known as the “highland paradise in the heart of Mindanao” due to its picturesque valleys, rolling uplands, and deep canyons.
The C landmark can be found in Bantayan Island, which is alluring due to its white sandbar and crystal clear water. It also offers delicious seafood, such as scallops and blue swimming crabs.
The D landmark is Subic Beach, which has sparkling pink sand and clear turquoise water. It also has rich marine biodiversity, which makes it ideal for snorkeling and freediving.

🚀 Vegout HQ happenings 🚀
Greetings from Seattle! I'm traveling for a few projects unrelated to Vegout Voyage this summer. Next month's email may or may not be dispatched from New York City!
We have a revamped website! It addresses frequently asked reader questions and is expanded with a new introductory web-based game, Cadet Training, teasing what Vegout Voyage is about to newcomers. Go try out Cadet Training if you are curious! I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you enjoy the little surprise in the end.
We have also switched to a different email provider, Klaviyo. While both you and I can expect to see little difference, allegedly the algorithm overlord wheeling and dealing under the hood will be more likely to recognize me as a real human and be less trigger-happy to shove my earnest work into your spam folders.
One piece of travel news we must talk about is the completion of the central Spire/Tower of Jesus Christ of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia. Barcelona was Vegout Voyage's first attempt at self-publishing in 2023, so this destination is very special to me. This news on Sagrada Familia is two months old now, and I remain mildly offended that how dare construction had finalized when I was very out of the loop with seasonal flus and jury duty. That said, an official inauguration is scheduled for June 10, 2026 to mark the centenary of Gaudi's death, so we are not too late after all! It's worth noting that while the basilica has now reached structural completion, works on interior details will remain till 2034.

On other news, HQ has been reluctantly raising a baby possum of late. Baby possum enjoys stealing Leto's cat food and then hiding under the TV cabinet. After a brief and disappointing Google search on whether possums can be pets, we quickly moved on to animal rescues and wildlife websites, which all advised on repellents around the perimeter. What nobody talks about is what to do when it's your cat who keeps bringing the possum home from the neighborhood, non-aggressively yet unrelentingly, with the frightened baby possum carried in his mouth, unharmed (as far as we can tell) but gravely traumatized. Nope, we do not have a solution yet.
